New versions of the Bio-Oracle dataset v2.2 and the R package sdmpredictors v2.10.0 are available

Bio-Oracle provides environmental data of the world ocean for present and future climate change scenarios. Recently, this dataset is improved and offers better quality for the end users.
New versions of the Bio-Oracle dataset v2.2 and the R package sdmpredictors v2.10.0 are available
The Bio-Oracle Data Management Team has introduced changes into the Bio-Oracle dataset and the R package sdmpredictors which makes Bio-Oracle available through scripting in the R language. This new version 2.2. addressed several issues concerning inconsistencies between the Bio-Oracle dataset available at the bio-oracle.org portal and the R package sdmpredictors.

These changes should not directly affect the final users. However, they improve the quality of the Bio-Oracle dataset. Layers that were only available through the R package sdmpredictors are now available also at the bio-oracle.org portal and vice versa. The data available on both interfaces is warrantied now to be the same.

Bio-Oracle is co-funded by Lifewatch Belgium together with other organizations part of the Bio-Oracle consortium.
