Abstract
A biometrical study on populations of Processa edulis during the yr at Roscoff shows this possible life cycle: individuals mate as male the 1 st yr, then, change sex at the end of summer and breed as female next yr before disappearing at the approximate age of 2 yrs. A list of Natantians which have been reported as protandrous hermaphrodites is given.
