Description
The dataset reports the relative abundance of potentially pathogenic bacteria in treated wastewater and coastal water samples collected in the proximity of discharge points at sea. The data derive from Next Generation Sequencing of amplicons of the V4-V5 region of 16S rRNA gene. moreOnly genera belonging to traditional and alternative (Newton et al 2013, Microbial Ecology 65, 1011-1023) fecal indicator bacteria are reported. Scope Themes: Coastal studies (e.g. shores, estuaries), Environmental quality/pollution Keywords: Abundance, Adriatic sea, Bacteria, Coastal, Wastewater, EurOBIS calculated BBOX, MED, Adriatic, Protozoa Geographical coverage EurOBIS calculated BBOX Stations
Bounding Box Coordinates: MinLong: 13,0181; MinLat: 42,157 - MaxLong: 16,525; MaxLat: 45,761 [WGS84] MED, Adriatic [Marine Regions] Temporal coverage
