Description
This animal project is a collaboration between VLIZ and the Rijke Noordzee to investigate the movement behaviour of Atlantic cod in relation to artificial hard substrates (e.g. Offshore wind turbines and artificial reefs) in the Belgian part of the North Sea (BPNS). For this project, the permanent receiver network in the BPNS and the temporal receiver network JJ_Belwind in the Belwind wind farm is used to gather the detection information Scope Themes: Biology > Fish, Fisheries > Fish stocks/catches/taggings Keywords: Marine/Coastal, Acoustic Archival, Acoustic data storage tag (ADST), Acoustic Tags, Acoustic telemetry, Animal movement, Animal Project, Archival Data, Artificial habitats, Artificial reef, Artificial reefs, Artificial substrata, Artificial substrates, Fish movement, Fish tracking, Live fish movement, Movement ecology, Tracking, Wind turbines, Belgium, North Sea, Gadus morhua Linnaeus, 1758 Geographical coverage Belgium, North Sea [Marine Regions] Temporal coverage
