"The database contains data on occurrence and abundance of butterflies, spiders, ground beetles and grasshoppers in a grazing pressure gradiënt reflected by different vegetation structure types (grassland, tall herbs, scrub and forest). Plots in ungrazed forests function as a reference plots. 23 Plots in 3 study sites are 900 m² (30mx30m) each containing 5 pitfalls. In the same plots catches were conducted sweeping a net through the vegetation.
