Description
This project investigated the movement behavior, passage choice, hindrance time, and survival of downstream migrating Atlantic salmon smolt after the removal of one hydropower station. Receivers were placed throughout the lower 35 km of river, with two high residency (HR) receiver arrays and two low residency arrays within the spill gates and turbine intakes of the two lower-most hydropower stations. 120 individuals were tagged with V5 acoustic tags.
