Abstract
    Text Spanish, keys Spanish/English. Includes 44 species (25 genera, 18 families and 8 superfamilies) found in Ibero-Balearic waters, as well as 22 other species (11 genera, 6 families and 1 superfamily) reported from neighbouring areas. Introductory chapter, followed by chapters on systematics, classification, geographical distribution, morphology, natural history and study techniques, with descriptions and identification keys to species, genera and suprageneric taxa. Includes data on the geographical distribution and biology of each species as well as an updated bibliography. Appendices give a complete taxonomic nomenclature, a list of Bryozoa Ctenostomata on both coasts of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands (Appendix 1), dichotomous identification keys to the species treated in this volume (in Spanish and English) (Appendix 2), a glossary of morphological and anatomical terms (Appendix 3), and an updated compilation of bibliographical references including records of Bryozoa from Ibero-Balearic waters.
