Abstract
One of the most important factors of the effective work of aquaculture enterprises and farms is rational selection of experts. The solution of this problem requires data on labour consumption of separate operations, as well as analysis of the level of mechanization and automation of the technological process of fish farming. Problems of employment are directly dependent upon the training of experts. It is common knowledge that at any fish farming enterprise the key-role is played by biologists. However, modern advanced technique also demands specialists with an engineering profile, who will combine engineering skills with necessary biological knowledge. The paper discusses the objective of creating an International Scientific Methodical Centre, having as its main tasks: identification of the general demand for experts and of aspects of their training; the working out of training and upgrading programmes and curricula in the field of aquaculture.
