Abstract
    The applicability of carbon dioxide snow for the quick refrigeration and low temp transport of prepacked fish was tested. The system appeared to be efficient. For rapid cooling of fish {approx} 5% carbon dioxide snow is required. For refrigerated transport {approx} 10% should be added when the outside temp is <10°C. At higher temp, 20% is necessary.
