LifeWatch and Maritime Industry: take part in our questionnaire about data and sensors

LifeWatch moves forward towards the establishment of a Maritime Industry Advisory Board (MIAB) that can advise on optimal valorisation for the maritime industry. In the run-up to this MIAB, the LifeWatch Maritime Industry Workshop was organized in January 2020.The first official meeting of the MIAB will take place on September 25. In cooperation with the Blue Cluster (DBC) and the Flemish Supercomputing Center (VSC), we will focus on applications of big data and supercomputers in the Blue Economy. We are currently finalising the program and making sure it is Covid-19 proof. An invitation and agenda will be circulated soon.

Questionnaire
Meanwhile, things have been progressing rapidly: at the request of the Flemish Supercomputing Center (VSC), we are already making the LifeWatch data available via their high-performance ICT infrastructure. Furthermore, in cooperation with the Blue Cluster, we are looking into interesting use cases for industry, based on these data.
In this regard, a questionnaire about data and sensors was prepared. You can find more information about this questionnaire here (in Dutch).
