This dataset consists of research files of Ensis directus, Spisula subtruncata, and other shellfish in the Dutch 12-mile zone and in the Voordelta. The survey gives an idea of the distribution and abundance of the most important shellfish in the coastal area. more
This dataset consists of research files of Ensis directus, Spisula subtruncata, and other shellfish in the Dutch 12-mile zone and in the Voordelta. The survey follows a serie of surveys conducted since 1995. For the Delta started in 1993. The survey gives an idea of the distribution and abundance of the most important shellfish in the coastal area. besides that, changes in the composition of shellfish in the coastal area is researched.
