ZooKeys is a peer-reviewed, open-access, online and print, rapidly produced journal launched to support free exchange of ideas and information in systematic zoology, phylogeny and biogeography.
All papers can be freely copied, downloaded, printed and distributed at no charge.

Editors of the World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS) can semi-automatically import (newly) published names into the WoRMS database, based on the ZooKeys Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Both the source and the taxon (or taxa) can be added step-wise.
In addition, WoRMS offers a list of the latest ZooKeys publications to its editors, from which they can easily start importing the (newly) published taxa.
