Description
The potential effects of aquaculture on mobile benthic species are limited. The aim of this study is to investigate the activity and depth use of the crab Cancer pagurus in proximity to a salmonid fish farm, using acoustic sensor tags (acceleration and depth) and a network of acoustic receivers. Scope Themes: Biology, Biology > Acoustics, Biology > Benthos > Zoobenthos, Biology > Invertebrates Keywords: Marine/Coastal, Acoustic arrays, Acoustic data, Acoustic detection, Acoustic receivers, Acoustic Tags, Acoustic telemetry, Acoustic Telemetry, Acoustic tracking, Acoustic tracking systems, Animal behavior, Animal behaviour, Animal Project, Animal tracking, Aquaculture development, Fjords, Marine aquaculture, Network Project, Salmon culture, Tracking data, Storfjorden, Cancer pagurus Linnaeus, 1758 Geographical coverage Storfjorden [Marine Regions] Temporal coverage
